The women studied Scripture and learned how the Jewish wedding was similar to their being called to be the bride of Christ. The participants experienced a Jewish wedding. They ate food that would have been consumed during a wedding during Jesus' time. They stood under the huppa and went through a betrothal ceremony. They prepared their lamps and veils so they were ready when the shofar blew and the groom came for them. There were many surprises and the participants all had a good time while developing a more personal relationship with Jesus their Groom.
