What’s For Breakfast?

Want a healthy breakfast? Here are several ideas. These recipes are easy to mix and match. They can be created to meet the tastes of all your family members.

 

Scrambled Eggs:

Herbs: oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary

Spices: garlic, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper

Red peppers

Green peppers

Leeks

Red onion

Eggs (2 per person) scrambled

Organic butter

Optional: grass fed milk

Chop the veggies and herbs and sauté in 1 tablespoon coconut oil and remove from heat.

 

Melt butter in skillet and add eggs with milk  and cook until scrambled.

You can then add the veggies, or if family members do not like veggies you can serve in separate dish.

Top with grated shredded grass fed cheddar cheese

 

Roasted potatoes:

12 Organic new potatoes

¼  Red onion

¼ c Leeks

¼ c Green peppers

¼ c Red peppers

Herbs: 1 tbs each oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary

Spices: garlic, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper, Himalayan salt to taste

2 Tablespoons Olive oil

 

Cut potatoes in small pieces, coat with olive oil and then add the herbs and spices.  Bake in Pyrex dish at 375* until potatoes are tender.

Optional: Top with grated Parmesan cheese

 

 

Fruit salad:

Strawberries

Blueberries

Cherries

Banana

Grass fed plain greek yogurt

Sunflower seeds

Pumpkin seeds

Goji berries

Cacao nibs

Cut strawberries and bananas. Then add blueberries and cherries. Mix in yogurt and top with the seeds and nibs.
